The overall purpose of this activity is to enable the leaner to…
...  understand the use of pessaries in the management of POP.  This will not only include the initial assessment and management of POP but also advice regarding pessary sizing and fitting, managing patient expectations, managing complications and options around self-management.
... understand the role and place of vaginal pessaries as part of the treatment algorithm for pelvic organ prolapse
... be able to counsel women appropriately regarding pessary use and its potential impact on bladder, bowel and sexual function

All health care professionals caring for women with pelvic organ prolapse and pessaries.

Satisfactory Completion 
Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion.  If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.
